The Poreč riva rocked hard to the sounds of Bon Jovi
This week’s World Stage programme in Poreč centred around the hard-rocking hits of Bon Jovi as the New Jersey BON JOVI Tribute Band delivered a show to remember last night. With their sublime musicianship and innovative renditions, these energetic Italians conjured up a truly scorching atmosphere by treating the audience to the greatest hits of the world-famous rock legends.
The band opened their show with Raise Your Hands and after just a few bars, they were thrilling the large crowd of all ages, which quickly joined in and started singing the classics, such as It’s My Life, Livin’ on a Prayer, Lay Your Hands on Me and many others. The rocking atmosphere was further ignited by the band’s guitar player Matteo Gattei, who briefly took over as frontman and sang the hit I’ll Be There For You. Gattei himself didn’t fail to share his delight with the atmosphere and the backing of the audience:
We honestly had a great time, this is a great concert venue and the crowd was truly amazing! They provided fantastic support and reacted well from the very start, which provided an added impulse and motivated us. We are over the moon and very grateful and we hope to be back soon!
Despite the unfavourable weather report, the only thing that stormed the Poreč waterfront last night was the hard-hitting rock rhythms and the truly electrifying concert atmosphere, which reached its peak when the singer Davide Barbieri jumped into the crowd to take pictures with the fans.
